ODISEO (LIVE AND DJ) Ulises Pascual a.k.a (ODISEO) is one of the exponents of progressive trance well know in Mexico. Since the beginning of the scene of psy trance in Mexico city, forming part of diverse projects as (XIBALBA) and (SKI FI). He has played in several great festivals and Clubs in: Austria, Germany, Italy, Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Brazil, and Israel. With 8 years producing and 10 years as a dj we can find a series of releases in diverse labels like: Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Sinn Tech, AP, Iboga, Solar Siv Records, Blue Tunes, Liquid Crystal, Aximy, Tatsu, Spin Twist, Iboga Mexico, Universal Records, Spliff, Plusquam, Groove Control just to mention a few. He has compiled 2 V/A with label Iboga mexico the second and thirth released "SUPERSTITIONS" and "SWITCH". After many years as producer and dj collaborating with diferent proyects and playing in differents festivals and clubs around the globe, now Odiseo decided to make is debut album call " 10 YEARS AFTER " ((OUT NOW)) 2008 with Blue Tunes Records. He's starting with a new path as a producer, searching for new sounds and tendencies with his new proyect (2UP), a combination of diferents styles like Electro, Progressive trance, latin house, minimal tek and clubby sound. He has a colaboration named (SENSISEO) with Phillippe Sancler a.k.a. SENSIFEEL with releases as "Funk You" and "French Tacos", also he has collaborated with Symphonix from Germany just to name a few. His alternative project along with (SIZU) and (PSIKINI) "TEPETOKIO" is a combination between instrumental and electronic music,
co-producing and remixing the original tracks of this band.The audio and video album is out now on Universal Records.

Xibalbá passed the summer of 2004 & 2005 touring the floors of Germany, since then they are the talk of the day in the Progressive Psy Trance scene. This most sought after Progressive act are Hugo Riveroll & Ulises Pascual a.k.a DJ Hamelin & DJ Odiseo from Mexico. The sound of Xibalba is unique, Melodic characteristic over groovy basslines and a new touch of electro sound on their dj sets and last coproductions. During this year they have been travelling several times over the european scene and have been totally welcome after this year´s, winter and summer tour around Germany, Denmark, Italy, Greece and Belgium, so now on they are one of the must wanted mexican live act and djs arround Europe and America. Solarsiv Records, Aximy Records, Kinetik Records, Sounds of Earth Records & Sinn - Tek Records. Since the 90's they have been leading the way of the new Electronic scene in Mexico and later on in the year 2000 started to produce & perform under the name of Xibalba.) SKI FI EnglishSKI FI It'S A NEW PROYECT from Mexico City, formed by Ulises Pascual a.k.a. (ODISEO) and Israel Gutierrez a.k.a. (NIZZEL). They started to produced under this name two years ago. With deep and tight bass lines, groove percutions and melodic morning sounds . Both have been playing since the beginning on the trance on the trance scene in Mexico, so they finally come togheter to start producing the live SKI-FI. |
